Peter Hauspurg serves as a Co-Managing Partner at ABS Partners Real Estate, LLC. ABS is a leading New York City – based real estate firm dedicated to building lasting real estate and professional partnerships. The firm is completely vertically integrated and maintains a focus in two areas: providing services which add value in leasing, investment sales, property management, construction management and advisory; and organizing opportunities for its clients to participate in the ownership of real estate. The firm boasts an investment portfolio of over 96 properties totaling over 13 million square feet of space in 10 states.
Prior to joining ABS Partners, Hauspurg and partner Daun Paris founded Eastern Consolidated Properties, and built the firm into an industry powerhouse focused on sales of investment properties, land assemblage, debt and equity placement and retail leasing. Mr. Hauspurg served at the helm of the firms’ global property sourcing activities, and he has originated virtually every type of real estate asset type for acquisition, including billions of dollars of office and apartment buildings, hotels, development sites and retail properties. Mr. Hauspurg has been ranked in the New York Observer’s NYC Real Estate Power 100 since the list’s inception in 2009.
Awards and Affiliations
For over 20 years, Mr. Hauspurg has been a member of the New York City Director’s Advisory Council and the Mortgage Committee of M & T Bank, a New York Stock Exchange listed bank with over $118 billion in assets. He is member of the Board of Governors of The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and is a past Chairman of its Sales Brokers Committee. He has been a guest lecturer in the Board’s Continuing Education Program and is a frequent industry speaker. Mr. Hauspurg has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Westchester Land Trust for over ten years.
Mr. Hauspurg is committed to philanthropic efforts for the New York area community. He is currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish child Care Association (JCCA), a nonsectarian organization founded in 1822 and dedicated to providing housing, medical care and vocational training to over 16,000 families in need in the Tri-State region, overseeing a $100 million annual budget with 1,100 employees. Together he and partner Daun Paris have been dedicated to the JCCA cause for over 20 years through the creation of new programs, fundraising efforts and the donation of a building on the association’s Pleasantville Campus for a cosmetology education program. In recognition of their contributions, the couple was honored by the JCCA at the organization’s annual gala in 2017.
Mr. Hauspurg is a graduate of Duke University and received his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham Law School with a specialization in tax law.
