Amazon Continues Expansion of New York City Industrial Footprint
The e-commerce giant has announced plans to open a pair of delivery stations next year in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn. The larger 336,350-square-foot logistics facility is located at 640 Columbia Street, and the 151,000-square-foot facility will open at 280 Richards Street. The announcement by Amazon comes about one month following news of additional openings planned for this year in Hunts Point, Bronx and in Queens.
