Retail Transactions Among the Top Mid-Market Investment Sales for Week Ending March 5
A pair of retail properties were among the top mid-market investment sales which includes properties that trade for between $10 million and $30 million each. The larger of the two deals is located in Midtown Manhattan at 761 Seventh Avenue, the vacant 22,450-square-foot commercial condo attracted a price of about $24.2 million; and until the pandemic led to a closure, served as the home of a TGI Friday’s restaurant and a food court that had a KFC and Pizza Hut. The second property to change hands is in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn at 2818 Coney Island Avenue. The 13,700-square-foot retail building currently occupied by Nargis Café fetched $22 million.
