Plaza District’s Childs Building Trades for $45M

Formerly serving as the home of an 18,000-square-foot TGI Fridays restaurant, the six-story building located at 604 Fifth Avenue has traded hands for $44.96 million. Japanese snack chain Minamoto Kitchoan has purchased the property known as the Childs Building from the Riese Organization; and plans to utilize the space for its New York City flagship. The 5th Avenue location joins the brand’s seven other U.S. stores currently in operation, including one at nearby 509 Madison Avenue.
