Arts-and-Crafts Retailer Making NYC Debut in Staten Island

Oklahoma-based Hobby Lobby has signed a lease for over 42,768-square-feet at The Crossing at the Staten Island Mall, 2655 Richmond Avenue. The deal marks the 50-year-old arts-and-craft retailer’s entrance into New York City’s retail market. The lease of the space formerly occupied by Babies ‘R’ Us was completed in September 2021 after several months of negotiations. Full details of the deal were not released.
