Brooklyn Prospect Charter School to Open New 70K-sf Facility in DoBro

Downtown Brooklyn will be welcoming a new charter school by the next school year at 80 Willoughby Street following the signing by Brooklyn Prospect Charter School of a 30-plus-year lease. The nearly 70,000-square-foot building formerly served as the home of St. Joseph’s High School until closing at the end of the 2019-2020 school year. The building will be undergoing a renovation by landlord United American Land, which recently acquired the property from the Sisters of St. Joseph for $23.2 million.
