Doubleheader Big Block Lease Signings at 1301 Sixth Avenue

A pair of separate big block leases totaling 238,380 square feet were recently signed by two investment banks at the 1.7 million-square-foot Crédit Agricole CIB Building, 1301 Sixth Avenue. The lease by longtime tenant Crédit Agricole was the larger of the two deals, the French bank downsizing its American operations headquarters from 240,000 square feet to 167,000 square feet; while the second lease by Boston-based SVB Leerink expanded the bank’s existing 40,811-square-foot space in the building by 71,380 square feet, for a total footprint of 112,191 square feet under a 13-year term.
