Extreme Department Stores Planting Their Flag in the Bronx After Securing a 15K-s/f Lease
South Bronx shopping center Concourse Plaza at 200 East 161st Street has added Extreme Department Stores to its tenant roster. The new 15,000-square-foot store on the ground level of the retail complex opened in February; and will be occupied under a 10-year term. Formerly home to a Modell’s, the signing is notable in that it was secured “within three months after the prior tenant vacated the space during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
