Former Salvation Army-Run Senior Housing Center on Upper West Side Hits the Market

Brack Capital Real Estate has abandoned plans to redevelop the former 352-unit Salvation Army-run senior center into a condominium. Located at 720 West End Avenue, just one block from the 96th Street subway hub, the 16-story property will be delivered completely vacant and gutted inside. The sale that is expected to fetch roughly $180 million, or $650 per square foot, includes Department of Buildings approved plans for the conversion and expansion project filed by Brack in 2018.
