Latin Restaurant Opening Bronx Outpost in Former TGI Friday’s Space

La Casa Del Mofongo plans to open its 5th New York City restaurant in the Spring of 2022. The Latin eatery will occupy the entire 7,500-square-foot standalone building within the Gun Hill Commons shopping center at 1780 Gunhill Road in the Bronx, which was previously the home of a TGI Friday’s.
