Manhattan’s First True Fast Charging Site for EV Vehicles to Open in Midtown
Electric vehicle startup Gravity will be opening on a 29-space street-level site at Manhattan Plaza, a full block residential complex at 576 Tenth Avenue between West 42nd and 43rd Streets. Gravity will have a dedicated entrance on West 42nd Street and offer charging options for electric vehicle drivers ranging from fast-charging in minutes to overnight charging for long-term parkers, while also serving as a charging hub for the startup’s new fleet of all-electric yellow taxis. Expansion to dozens of sites across the 5 boroughs is planned.
