New Protocol Trends as Some Landlords Prepare to Welcome Back workers

As confidence gradually rises of the possible safe return this summer of workers to the city’s office buildings, landlords have been busy reimaging everything from build outs, technology, and bathrooms to give tenants confidence that the building is a safe place to be; while businesses explore a hybrid occupancy model, with the understanding that employees won’t go from zero days to five days in eight-hour increments all at once. Some buildings have installed thermal scanners and large air filters in the lobbies; and others are using UV lights in common areas along with bi-polar ionization systems and touchless sensors or anti-microbial covers on buttons.
