New York–Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Opens Long Awaited 400K-s/f Park Slope Ambulatory Care Center
After about a half-decade of development, Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood welcomes the opening of the 400,000-square-foot The Center for Community Health ambulatory care center. New York–Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital will operate the 6th floor, approximately $500 million facility located on 6th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues. It is the first new ambulatory care center to open in Brooklyn since the 1970s; and will provide patients the convenience to see different specialists in the same place and even on the same day, while providers will be able to benefit from the opportunity to collaborate on care and research projects.
