NYC Investment Sales Volume in Q2 2021 Delivers Continued Signs of Recovery
The dollar volume of citywide investment sales reach $4.8 billion in the 2nd quarter of 2021, representing a 38.9% quarter-over-quarter increase. Office property sales accounted for $1.6 billion in deal volume, about 23% higher than the total in the 1st quarter. However, due to a strong start to 2020, overall investment sales activity totaling $8.3 billion in the first half of 2021 was 34.6% lower than the $8.9 billion total in the same period last year.
