REBNY Releases Q2 2021 Real Estate Broker Confidence Report
During the 2nd quarter of 2021, confidence surged among commercial and residential brokers according to the Q2 2021 Real Estate Broker Confidence report released by the Real Estate Board of New York in Mid-August. Improved confidence in both current and future market conditions among residential brokers pushed both the Current Conditions Index (CCI) and the Expectations Index (EXI) to new peak levels. Similarly, the EXI spiked to a new record amid a highly optimistic outlook among commercial brokers; however, while CCI rose, ending five consecutive quarters in negative territory, the 2nd quarter index fell short of the prior 1st quarter 2019 peak.
