Union Square Adds its First Rooftop Bar to the Neighborhood’s List of Highlights
As part of the fall completion of the “$100 million glow-up” of the W New York-Union Square, the newly added rooftop bar made its debut on March 30th. Located on the 22nd floor of the hotel, the new indoor/outdoor space dubbed “Guardian at the W is set behind the hotel’s iconic sign” and boasts fantastic views, claiming the title of the “first and only rooftop bar in the immediate Union Square area. A flexible glass roof allows the space to be climate-controlled so that operation will be year-round, with the Manhattan skyline doing “most of the heavy lifting when it comes to ambiance.”
