Warner Bros. Moves Ahead with Planned 20,000 s/f Harry Potter New York Experience

Despite setbacks due to the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, the much-anticipated opening of the Harry Potter New York store at 935 Broadway, also known as 161 Fifth Avenue, is scheduled for June 3, 2021. The lease by Warner Bros. of the former Restoration Hardware store spread across 20,000 square feet on 3-levels was initially reported in September 2019. It is hoped that the new experience concept of the “iconic franchise” will bring some “magic back into people’s lives;” as well as generate a big boost to the area by “catalyzing economic activity that supports businesses throughout Flatiron and NoMad.”
